Hi! I'm Niefrae a self-taught artist based in New York. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, this is where I discovered my love for art while taking a painting class in college. That class brought so much joy to my life and from that day on I knew that painting would become more than just a hobby for me! Since then it’s been an amazing journey discovering who I am as an artist. Painting allows me to express my emotions in the most passionate ways on canvas, it is my therapy. I am moved by colors and how they make you feel and I love every opportunity that I get to share this with others. Art has no rules, no boundaries, only endless inspirations.

As an acrylic artist, one of my inspirations are drawn from beautiful floral arrangements. I love how the sun kisses each flower on a bright sunny day. I am also drawn to captivating clothing found in diverse cultures. The patterns, the combination of bold colors, and the style of dress are mesmerizing to me! It excites me to bring the beauty of it all to life on canvas with bright colors and delicate gold accents. Additionally, I believe art is therapy and I love helping others learn to tap into their creative side as a positive and fun outlet by teaching painting classes and by creating fun paint-by-number kits!
When I'm not creating you can find me volunteering my time to a world-wide bible education program, traveling with my wonderful husband, or getting together with amazing friends for good belly laughs!
